Privacy Protection Practices of StenzCo Insurance Services

The Privacy Protection Act regulates the collection and disclosure of personal information by the Insurance Industry. The following is how we adhere to those guidelines.

First, we respect the personal privacy of all our clients by diligently keeping documents in secured cabinets and a database protected by encrypted passwords. We do not allow public access to any of these records or information. Any unused document or file with any personal information will be shredded before discarding.

Second, we do not sell or give your information to 3rd parties other than the insurance companies you choose to have insurance policies with.

When we initially determine if one of the companies we represent can insure you or when we perform an insurance transaction on your existing policy, we primarily use the information you have given us, but we may use other sources. Other sources could include the California Department of Motor Vehicles or ChoicePoint. Without your authorization, we may disclose the personal or privileged information we have collected only in circumstances permitted by law. As an example, a bank or mortgage company may inquire on property in your possession that they have a loan for to verify insurance coverage is in force. You have the right to see and, if necessary, correct personal information.

We will try to resolve any complaint you may have in connection with the insurance companies we represent.
